Join us for this annual community event for children, to help them learn how to be safe in and around the water.

We have lots of fun educational activities both in the pool and on the pool deck. Try your hand at tipping a canoe, swimming with your clothes on, and using reaching and throwing assists for just some examples. The event is geared towards younger children, families, and groups. 

No swimming skills are required.

What to bring? Bring your bathing suit, towel, water shoes for the pool deck. Locker rooms are available for changing and showering. Face masks must be worn in our facilities and can be removed when swimming in the pools. 

Register? This free event does not need pre-registration. Please visit the Customer Service Center at the Mackal Field House and let them know you are participating in the event. 

First time at the Tootell Aquatic Center? We can help! Campus Rec Student staff will be available to bring you to the locker rooms, changing rooms, and pool deck. Our facility is accessible for all ages and abilities with an elevator to the pool deck and locker rooms.
