The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the official in-person schedule for the Class of 2022 Commencement Weekend, to be held May 20–22, 2022, at the Kingston Campus.

The Main Commencement ceremony, one of URI’s most beloved traditions, will return to the Quadrangle on Sunday, May 22. This celebration includes a formal procession, traditional ceremony, and conferral of undergraduate and honorary degrees. The Graduate School degrees will be conferred during an individual college ceremony held in the Ryan Center on Saturday, May 21. All graduates will have their name announced, cross the stage, and have professional photos taken during their individual college ceremonies. All undergraduate students are encouraged to attend BOTH the traditional Main Commencement ceremony on the quad, as well as their individual college ceremony!
