In a beautifully woven semiautobiographical story, the narrator takes the listener back 50 years to the development of an intense friendship between two high school women.

Friendship, attraction, flirtation, infatuation, romance - how it evolved and how it didn't.

The narrative shuttles back and forward like threads on a loom from distant past to the recent past. The two women reconnect and explore the intervering years and what might have been, what might be.
