The current exhibition by Ben Anderson at URI Art Gallery, titled "Bound to Sea" utilizes multiple media to create a unique psychological environment. 

Through his assemblage of handmade objects, Anderson provokes the viewer by questioning how and why the sea holds such a powerful and spiritual presence.  Evocative of familiar New England maritime culture and hardhsip, the installation approaches the form of a re-imagined nautical landscape. 

"Bound to Sea" simultaneously evokes the unfamiliar, engaging the viewer with a new provocative perspective of a nautical environment.
