Join us for a presentation about new programs relevant to marine scientists, economists and social scientists arising from the U.S.-Canada-E.U. Galway Agreement.
Dr. Wojciech Wawrzynski, Head of Science Support at the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) and the lead support to the Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance (AORA) Trilateral Aquaculture Working Group, will give a presentation titled, “TransAtlantic cooperation in marine research.” The talk will include: marine science coordination mechanisms at a macro-regional scale; international knowledge creation and application; scientific support to decision making; opportunities for professionals within the ICES/AORA networks; trilateral (USA-Canada-EU) shared vision of the Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance; and scientific support to the UN 2030 Agenda.
