https://web.uri.edu/coopext/events/Why is it important to plant for pollinators? This is the question that is all the more pressing today when entomologists are indicating that 40% of insects are at risk of extinction. When pollinators are at risk so are humans because 80% of all plants are dependent on pollinators. Alan Newton, URI Master Gardener Class of 2020, will focus on what to plant and how to plant to help sustain our pollinators.
This workshop is free thanks to the URI Master Gardener program. All are welcome. No registration necessary.
