In honor of Black History Month, we will consider African and African American current contributions to Communication Studies. Asomdwee is a West African term that means peace and the active progression toward peace-making in the interpersonal relationship. This discussion will explore Asomdwee within the context of West African notions of community and pose the question: Could Asomdwee be useful to us as an alternative method of peace-making?
This is a Harrington Forum event. Co-sponsored by the Program in Africana Studies and the Multicultural Student Services Center.
