On the 11th of April, URI’s Student Alliance for the Welfare of Africa will be hosting our 3rd annual Africa Night banquet. The goal of this event is to celebrate ties to the African continent and SAWA’s efforts to promote awareness of African culture in the URI community. Music from the motherland will be played by our very own DJ Yemz, and the dance floor is open to all attendees. Join us in the Memorial Union Ballroom for a night of performances, feasting, awards and solidarity.

Doors are open from 6pm but the event will commence at 7pm.
