Professor of Graduate School of Library & Information Studies Yan Ma has arranged for a special guest lecture by Dr. Ming Wang. A poor Chinese immigrant, Wang defied all odds to become a world-renowned cataract and LASIK eye surgeon, philanthropist, community activist. He is the founding director of Wang Vision Institute and a Clinical Professor for Meharry Medical College, both in Nashville, TN; the author of "From Darkness to Sight"; and was portrayed by actor Terry Chen in the film Sight.

Professor Ma invites all members of the community to attend this virtual guest lecture for LSC528: Digital Visual Information Literacy via zoom.
