We are excited to annouce that the 2023 Alumni of Color Network Panel will be taking place on Thursday, March 30th.
The panel consists of seven alumni of color from various majors, careers, community involvement, etc. This event serves as an opportunity for our alumni to share their challenges, successes, and experiences as scholars of color at URI and now professionals of color in their respective fields. In addition to the seven panelists, there will be various other alumni of color in the audience to serve as a resource as well.
In addition to the knowledge shared, in the past, scholars have left the panel with mentors, job/internship opportunities, and connections that have funded graduate school to name a few.
The event has grown to be our most popular event of the year as we have maximized over 200 scholars and alumni of color in attendance.
The upcoming panel is taking place in URI's Memorial Union Ballroom on Thursday, March 30th beginning promptly at 5:30 pm, although we will be providing complimentary professional headshots from 4:30-5:15.
Catering will be provided by Caribbean Soul and we will also be partnering with other campus offices to maximize on the opportunities afforded to our current scholars.
We hope to see you there!
