Join with other URI community members and sponsor a child or family in need this upcoming holiday season as part of URI’s annual Spirit of Giving campaign — now through Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

New, unwrapped items of warm clothing, toys, gift cards and monetary donations will benefit the children and families assisted by Children’s Friend, Rhode Island’s largest and oldest non-profit organization dedicated to the health, education and well-being of children and families in need.

Sponsoring a child or family is easy! Simply sign up online through the Children’s Friend Spirit of Giving website. After you collect your gifts, you can drop them off directly to Children’s Friend, or bring them to one of our Collection Boxes or Final Collection Drive on Tuesday, December 13th 2-4PM. You can also email sgmiller@uri.edu for a pickup if you have a department/office drive!
