The Royalty Pageant would be URI's first Ms/Mr Africa pageant. This is an event that has been done at many universities before and now we are hoping to bring it to URI's campus. The goal of this event is to give individuals the opportunity to not only showcase their African culture but embrace it in front of their peers. This event strives to enrich the minds of URI with different cultural backgrounds. We are hoping all who participate in this event end the night feeling not only prideful but confident in themselves, with an even greater sense of love for not only their Culture but their peers African cultures.
