Photo of Why Science Isn't Enough: Faith, Reason, & the Human Need For Certainty w/ MIT Professor Troy Van VoorhisTroy Van Voorhis is an associate professor of chemistry at MIT whose research focuses on quantum chemistry. He will be sharing why he, as a scientist at one of the world's best universities, believes in God.

Here is Troy's own description of the night's lecture:
“How can a scientist believe in something as antiquated as the Bible? Believing scientists often encounter questions of this sort both in the popular press and in coffee table conversations... In this talk I will address a few of these common misperceptions and discuss how science and faith are integrated in my own life and decision making."
