Developed in the 1970's Square Foot Gardening is described as growing more food in less space with less waste (of time, materials and money). The method uses raised beds divided into square foot grids with a defined soil mix. Square foot gardening is used by gardeners everywhere including schools (Square yard in the schoolyard) and internationally (Square meter gardening). Easy to learn, it is a great way to grow your own food!
