WaterHacksRI is a 48-hour, hands-on competition in which participants will design, build and create projects that address residential water issues, such as quality, monitoring, data mining, communications, and education.
The hackathon March 2-4, is open to students from all colleges. A $1,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winner.
During the competition, students will work with the support of fellow engineers, researchers, designers, entrepreneurs, mentors, and others.
Students must register to compete at bit.ly/whri2018.
The public is welcome to attend the showcase and pitch competition on March 4.
