URI Providence Campus, 1st and 2nd flr. galleries 80 Washington St, University of Rhode Island-Providence Campus, Providence, RI 02903, USA
URI's Providence Campus Gallery presents an exhibition of over 90 works to highlight Thomas F. Morrissey's career in visual arts spanning five-decades. Like so many American artists that came upon the scene in the late 1960s, Morrissey saw no boundaries between media; working successfully in photography, installation, paint, or even clay to express the undercurrents of the day.
This exhibition reflects upon and documents this exciting journey in visual art. He has been on the faculty of art at the Community College of Rhode Island since moving to this state.
This exhibit runs July 8 - August 23.
