This annual event is enjoyed by all incoming first year students. The Office of Student Involvement in conjunction with Housing and Residential Life, Orientation and Recreational Services provide a festive night complete with free food and activities.

First night was awesome!! I had an awesome time. THe food was really good, I picked up some Rhody SWAG and I joined a couple of clubs. Completely packed with people so I could barely walk sometimes, but nevertheless it was fantastic.

i had a lot of fun during first night, it was just really hard to get to some of the tables because there were so many people around! obviously that's hard to control with so many people. the food was all awesome

URI Humans vs Zombies had an amazing time last night meeting all the new freshmen. We look forward to seeing all of you at our first meeting on Wed. Sept. 12th at 7pm in room 318. It was really great to see all the different organizations URI has to offer.

Excellent!! 120 Student Organizations with tables to advertise, 24 Food vendors so plenty of free food, and great choices for fun vendors; sign shop and build a bear especially popular. Need to expand so there is more space to move around the tables or host over 2 days.
