The Vagina Monologues
Saturday, February 25 at 8:00pm
Event runs from February 23 to February 25
Edwards Auditorium 64 Upper College Rd, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881, USA
The URI Peer Advocates presents URI's 10th annual VDAY benefit performance of Eve Ensler’s Obie Award-winning play.
The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play made up of a number of monologues read by a varying number of women. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality. In 1998, Ensler joined with others to launch V-Day as a global non-profit movement that has raised millions for women's anti-violence groups.
