The URI College of Nursing will host Dr. Paul Farmer, famed founder of Partners in Health, for a presentation at the Nursing Education Center on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Dr. Farmer, "the man who would cure the world," will address the difficulties of providing health care in remote locations in his presentation, "The Caregiver's Disease: Ebola and the Challenge to Nursing in West Africa."
