The Future of American Health Care: The Effects of Government Policies

America’s reliance on private and public health insurance has had enormous effects on health care availability and outcomes. Join us for a discussion of how evolving health care funding policies have affected and will affect American health care.

Gerald Friedman, a professor of economics at UMass Amherst will discuss evolving health care funding policies.  Professor Friedman has prepared studies of health care financing for several states and the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign.
