Memorial Union, Ballroom, Atrium 1 & 2 50 Lower College Rd, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881, USA
The Big Event is an annual destination-themed festival, geared towards raising a greater awareness of International opportunities here at the URI.
Each year we select a different destination to celebrate. The Big Event 2012 will focus on East Asian countries and culture. In addition to food, performances, and giveaways, students present destination inspired projects and display booths. URI faculty, staff, and the community are invited to collaborate with projects and displays as well.
Students and participants interested in creating an academic focused or interactive booth related to The Big Event 2012's theme may earn a stipend of up to $150.

Lots going on and consistent theme throughout. Would have been great to have more of the event outside, or promoters going around campus advertising.
