On Stage: How The Other Half Loves

Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 7:30pm

Fine Arts Center 105 Upper College Rd, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881, USA

Originally a hit British comedy, How the Other Half Loves is a farce by the acclaimed international playwright Alan Acykbourn about the lives and loves of three couples at different stages in their marriages. It has retained its sharp wit and the unique concept of two family living rooms combined in one single set and two dinner parties held on two separate evenings, but happening at the same time on stage. Adultery, mistaken identity and mounting comic tension come together to create a crowd-pleasing and hysterical evening of top class theatre.
