OLLI is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Authors' Night to honor OLLI members who are published authors. The event will provide the opportunity for members to meet authors and hear what is involved in creating a book that engages its audience and challenges reader’s imaginations.
5 – 6:30pm – Authors’ Panel
Lois Cuddy, Author of Penelope’s Song, a story that re-imagines the characters in Homer’s Odyssey and tells the life story of Penelope, Homer’s courageous, strong, heroic—and abandoned—wife.
Frank Heppner, Author of Railroads of Rhode Island, the story of how Rhode Island’s position at the intersection of trade routes in the population centers of New England shaped the placement of its railroads.
Claremary Sweeney, Author of A Berkshire Tale, ten interwoven stories set in the Berkshire Hills. Though written for children, the book has proven to be of interest to all age groups.
