Join URI’s GAU Speak Out for Science (SOS) group to March for Science on April 22nd!
The March for Science, a worldwide march set to be held on Earth Day to celebrate science, is an opportunity to demonstrate our regard for science and support for the scientific community. The mischaracterization of science as a partisan issue has allowed policymakers to reject overwhelming evidence and is a critical and urgent matter.
It is time for citizens who support scientific research and evidence-based policies to take a public stand for the importance of science in our society.
ON APRIL 22, 2017, WE WALK OUT OF THE LAB AND INTO THE STREETS. Visit marchforscience.com for details.
