Facilitated by Sarah Miller, Coordinator, Feinstein Center for Service Learning. This interactive and discussion based workshop will enable students to understand the leadership principles and practices of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the civil rights movement of the 1950’s and 60’s in the United States; to apply the Social Change Model of Leadership in contemporary times; and to clarify their own personal leadership strengths and values as the basis for equity in their careers, civic lives, and campaigns to improve the world.
