How to Start a Native Plant Garden

The presentation will discuss the rationale for native pollinators - Where do I start from site assessment, design, plant selection,
site preparation, planting and maintenance, all supported with visual examples from Kettle Pond. We will stress 3 of
the 19 garden plots with visuals of those plots through a 6-month period. Participants will receive pollinator plant lists and garden plot
maps showing the position of each plant along with common and Latin names. Our seed collection program will also be discussed.
