Honors Colloquium: Reimagining Gender: Voices, Power, Action

New ways of thinking about gender dominate our culture and politics today.  At this pivotal moment in time, what is the (renewed) relevance of gender in shaping human rights in an increasingly diverse world? How do gender identities connect with other dimensions of inequality? And how is our rising consciousness about gender leading to vibrant social conversations, rearrangements of power, and new possibilities?

This week: Representation, Leadership, Innovation, and Transformation: Women, Gender, and STEM Success, Pamela McCauley. Professor of industrial engineering at the University of Central Florida, award-winning educator, entrepreneur, author, and STEM role model.  Co-sponsored by the College of Engineering
