Film and Discussion: "Kinderblock 66"

The Buchenwald concentration camp was liberated on April 11, 1945. Nearly 1000 boys survived. Sixty five years later, on April 11, 2010, several of the surviving boys from Block 66 returned to Buchenwald.  “Kinderblock 66” tells their story.

This powerful and acclaimed documentary was directed by URI Film/Media instructor Rob Cohen.  Professor Cohen will introduce the film and conduct a question and answer session following.

The film and discussion are part of URI Hillel's Holocaust Memorial events taking place April 7-14. For more events see
