60 Upper College Rd, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881, USA
Dr. Karl Aspelund explains the challenges of designing for long-duration space-exploration, outlines solutions, and considers the impact on life and culture on Earth.
Humans seem headed for habitation on a new kind of planet, whether they go to space or not. Whether on Earth, Mars, or interstellar craft, limited resources, harsh nature, and new communal structures are on the cards for future generations.
If you are interested in attending, we would appreciate if you register online at uri.edu/afw by October 13. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
