After dramatic eruptions of Kilauea dominated the news, have you found yourself wondering how scientists study volcanos? Or how they study volcanism under the surface of the ocean? Students from the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography will discuss their work investigating the volcanic origins of Earth’s crust beneath our feet and describe how they conduct research on submarine volcanism. Join us on Thursday October 18th. All ages welcome!
