Advance-CTR's Seminar Series

Advance-CTR's new Seminar Series will provide Pilot Projects grant recipients, Mentored Research scholars and other awardees the opportunity to present their work and progress in a friendly, collaborative, and interdisciplinary setting.

This monthly series allows participant scholars to present work at all stages, whether it is early on, as their research progresses, or when they are nearing publication. Presentations, followed by feedback, allows presenters the opportunity to refine and strengthen their research progress.

The first session features:

• Patrycja M. Dubielecka-Szczerba, PhD, and Elena Oancea, PhD: "New Mechanism of Chemoresistance of Leukemic Stem Cells."

• Kerri Kim, PhD, and Kunal Mankodiya, PhD: "Brain/hehavior mechanisms of emotion dysregulation in adolescents with Mood and Anxiety Disorders."
